Expobiomasa arises from the spanish association for the energy recovery of biomass (avebiom), who invite professionals and companies to fairs specialized in biomass technology in different places in spanish territory. Biomass as a renewable energy source represents the biodegradable portion of products, waste and particles from agricultural and industrial activities. As a result of the great technological update in terms of renewable energies and the material to be used to provide electricity, biomass plays a fundamental role in it. Different activities are being developed in order to continue encouraging. Especially to professionals, companies and other figures in the renewable energy sector, as is the case of expobiomasa. After eleven consecutive successful editions, the expobiomasa, which has been developed every two years. It thus defines its position in the ranking as one of the five best fairs in the renewable energy sector worldwide. It also includes international events in its activities with the celebration of important fairs.
Biomass is a sector that is constantly evolving: the expobiomasa is a reflection of a sector in constant progress as a source for the generation of renewable energy. Expobiomass in europe and the american continent: due to the proximity and importance of the sector, portugal has been one of the countries that has attended these fairs, and continues to be the most represented country after spain. Both in exhibiting firms and visitors, it is also important to highlight that in the last edition of expobiomasa more than a thousand visitors from this country attended.
